Rose Bowl Tailgating

Sup Party People! My tix and park pass finally in hand, I'm ready to try a little of this organizing thing. Still pretty limited in all, but I know I'll be leaving Long Beach at 6a and parking in the Brookside Golf Course general parking Lots 1-4. Depending on how many others get up that early and over there (the lots open at 4a, and the passes become invalid after 11:30a), I'll park as close to the stadium as allowed. I'll be rolling with my dukie brother in law in his metallic blue honda accord. He informs it's got a broken passenger side mirror. We'll have chairs and coolers and things that go in coolers, but no plans to bring a grill. We'll be bringing lots of sandwich materials and munchies. I also was too late ordering a BSD flag from the Flag Lady horsenbuggy recommended, so these descriptions will have to do:

I'll be there rockin the White Out in my Dan Connor jersey. I'm about 5'10, and after these holiday meals, pushin about 180. Women describe me as delicious. Just now began winter transition from a goat to a beard. Come by and ask if I'm jp. In fact, I've decided to take this rare step and post my phone number for texting and finding people. Would love to see some of yous who have posted here that you're going: speedomike, jnitt, the mighty one, rockin, rockin's eighteen yo daughter, buggy, hawaiipennstatefan, nittanycub, capnjack, reggiebullits. I hope to set up not far from the Alumni Tailgate Parties that appear on the brochure map (outta time to scan it), but text me if you're in the brookside lots and lookin to tailgate: two oh two, four two two, eight two six six.

Poinsettia Bowl Open Thread?

Just tuned in for the start of the second half. 13-7 BSU, and I'm hearing the soothing sounds of mark may and lou holtz, held together by the best scotch tape job ever, in reese davis. Hey, scotch sounds like a good idea! I gotta figure out where this game is. Thundersticks suck. I can hear their tinny rattle--too bad it's not loud enough to drown out holtz. Teams look well-matched, so far.

Vaginal Acrobatics Out of Fantasy Playoffs

I regret to inform BSD, and Tailgate Shogun particularly, who was gracious in allowing use of the term for my team name, that Vaginal Acrobatics was eliminated this weekend from fantasy playoffs, ending their season. Creamy McBeaverton, the 'Bats, general manager had this to say: 'the team fought hard all year; we look forward to competing again next year, and we're confident a new sponsor will emerge who can take us in a new direction. The team is very appreciative for Ms. Elizabeth Burke's inspiration and sponsorship this year, and wish her the best of luck in the future.'

He went on to say: 'The buck also stops here. Although a 5pt loss to brees, turner, forte & calvin johnson is nothing to sneeze at, our season is ended. And if I can't find a way to draft or sign a top-20 rb, then I have to take full blame, and the owner has every right to find herself a new GM.'
